The creative mind behind Angst Yok was born in Cologne and lives and works in Berlin. In his late childhood he began to draw and a few years later to devote himself to painting. Over the next few years - from wallpaper remnants to his own pants to the garden wall - everything that can be painted everything that could be found and used whatever was available. Chocolate, jam, mom's lipstick.

This is followed by larger formats, canvases, windows, doors and an intensive Deal with collages. Alone and in conjunction with writing. First purely analog - with copier, scissors and paper - and later digital-analog hybrids. The paper collage is, for example. scanned and then digitally labeled or colored. During this time, after a trip through Turkey and Iran, the first "Angst Yok" collage ("yok" = Turkish for "not present", "no one"), which is printed as a sticker in postcard format as a joke. printed as stickers in postcard format and mostly put up in Berlin and Cologne but also elsewhere in and and outside Europe in all possible and impossible places.

Since then regularly new A.Y. collages & stickers. With the fun of sticking and the feedback to the image-word-combination, the formats become larger and more formats become larger and more works of this kind are created. By screen printing, the now poster-sized motifs are duplicated by hand and subsequently with ladder and paste at night. Sometimes by car, sometimes by subway. In Berlin, in Cologne, Frankfurt or Leipzig. Sometimes alone. Sometimes with the group. The street and the urban space offer the possibility, with the help of clear writing, humor and without moralistic pointing fingers to provide a broad public with free, low-threshold access to art. access to art and at the same time gives everyone the opportunity to judge it.

In addition to his work in the open air, the artist continues to work with analogue and digital digital painting in his studio in the north of the capital.
